Prize DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The responsible promoter is Renesas Electronics Europe GmbH, Arcadia Str. 10, 40472, Düsseldorf, Germany (“Renesas”).
  2. By entering the prize draw promotion and submitting details, entrants will go into a draw to win a single ADAS starter kit on behalf of their company. For each price draw Renesas shall in its absolute discretion decide how many prizes are available to win.
  3. The prize draw is only open to companies with their seat within the European Union. Employees participating on behalf of their company must be eighteen (18) years or older as of the start date of this prize draw. Employees of Renesas, its affiliated companies, their families, agents or any other person(s) connected with the prize draw are ineligible.
  4. Renesas reserves the right to request a written confirmation that employees are authorized to participate in the price draw on behalf of their company and to accept the delivery of the ADAS start kit on their company’s behalf. Delivery will only be made to the company’s address, only within the European Union and subject to any export control regulations. In particular, Renesas reserves the right to very that the company is not subject to any export control restrictions or raises any concerns regarding compliance with export control regulations. Renesas may request further company information to complete any such verification. In case of re-export the company must ensure compliance with all applicable export control regulations.
  5. The start date for entries and the closing date for entries are as specified on the prize draw entry page.
  6. No purchase is necessary to enter, nor to collect a prize. Renesas reserves the right to issue a pro forma invoice to comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including export control regulations.
  7. To enter, complete the official on-line entry form linked from the prize draw entry page.
  8. Renesas will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Renesas takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  9. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and by all relevant national and international export control regulations. Any misrepresentation, breach of these terms and conditions, false or fraudulent entry by an entrant will invalidate their entry.
  10. Only one entry per person per price draw is permitted.
  11. All entries by third parties and agents are invalid.
  12. Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged.
  13. The winner(s) will receive the prize described on the prize draw entry page.
  14. The prize is non-transferable, and cash alternatives are not available.
  15. Renesas reserves the right to substitute a prize by another Renesas product of equal or greater value.
  16. Winners will be selected at random from all the valid entries received before the closing date.
  17. All taxes are the winners’ responsibility.
  18. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
  19. The winners will be notified by email.
  20. Any potential winner who cannot be contacted within 14 days following the date of first attempted notification will forfeit her/his prize and an alternative winner will be chosen.
  21. Renesas has no and shall have no liability for any loss or damage suffered by any entrant arising out of or in connection with the prize drawn or the delivery of the price. Any mandatory rights under the applicable law shall remain unaffected.
  22. All decisions of Renesas regarding this prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  23. Data Protection and Sales & Marketing Communication
    1. Data which entrants provide will be used and stored to enable Renesas to perform all the tasks needed to run the prize promotion. Data may be used in particular to verify eligibility and this may necessitate data already in the possession of Renesas and its group companies being combined with the data entrants provide.
    2. Renesas may provide the entrants’ data to other Renesas group companies (“Renesas Affiliates”) and to Renesas and its Affiliates’ distribution partners (“Distribution Partners”). This may include the transfer and processing of personal data outside the European Union, provided, however, that Renesas will ensure the adequate protection of personal data by any Renesas Affiliate or Distribution Partner in accordance with the applicable laws.
    3. If entrants have given their consent, Renesas, Renesas Affiliates and Distribution Partners may use the entrants’ data to provide them with information on Renesas products, solutions and services that may be of interest to them, or for statistical purposes and the conducting of market research. This may include in particular distribution of e-newsletters, information and updates on new products, solutions and services, invitations to events and participation in customer satisfaction surveys.
    4. Entrants may at any time withdraw their consent regarding the use of their personal data to be contacted for marketing purposes either by e-mail to [email protected] or by post to Renesas Electronics Europe GmbH, Data Protection Officer, Arcadia Str. 10, 40472, Düsseldorf, Germany. From newsletters the entrants may withdraw by using the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter.
  24. Renesas reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time for future prize draws, without notice to entrants.
  25. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany to the exclusion of its conflicts of law provisions and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
  26. Legal venue for all legal disputes arising out of or in connection with the price draw promotion is Düsseldorf, Germany.
