Prize DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The promoter is Renesas Electronics Europe GmbH, Arcadia Str. 10, 40472, Düsseldorf, Germany.
  2. By entering the prize draw promotion and submitting details, entrants will go into a draw to win a single Connect it! - Wireless M-Bus solution kit. Renesas Electronics Europe GmbH shall in its absolute discretion decide how many prizes are available to win, and may increase or decrease this number.
  3. The prize draw is only open to legal residents of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who are eighteen (18) years or older as of the start date of this prize draw. Employees of Renesas, its affiliated companies, their families, agents or any other person(s) connected with the prize draw are ineligible.
  4. The start date for entries and the closing date for entries are as specified on the prize draw entry page.
  5. No purchase is necessary to enter, nor to collect a prize. To enter, complete the official on-line entry form linked from the prize draw entry page.
  6. Renesas will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Renesas takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
  7. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and by all relevant national and international export control regulations. Any misrepresentation, breach of these terms and conditions or fraudulent entry by an entrant will invalidate their entry.
  8. Only one entry per person.
  9. All entries by third parties and agents are invalid.
  10. Entries will not be acknowledged.
  11. Winners will receive the prize described on the prize draw entry page.
  12. The prize is non-transferable, and cash alternatives are not available.
  13. Renesas reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  14. Winners will be selected at random from all the valid entries received before the closing date.
  15. All taxes are the winners’ responsibility.
  16. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
  17. The winners will be notified by email.
  18. Any potential winner who cannot be contacted within 14 days following the date of first attempted notification will forfeit her/his prize and an alternative winner will be chosen.
  19. Renesas has no and shall have no liability to any Applicant for any loss or damage suffered by any entrant arising out of or in connection with the prize drawn except where liability is mandatory by law.
  20. All decisions of Renesas regarding this prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. Renesas reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the prize draw (including altering prizes), in its sole discretion, without the provision of prior written notice.
  22. Data Protection and Sales & Marketing Communication
    1. Data which entrants provide will be used and stored to enable Renesas to perform all the tasks needed to run the prize promotion. Data will used to verify eligibility and this may necessitate data already in the possession of Renesas Electronics Europe GmbH being combined with the data entrants provide.
    2. If entrants have agreed to it, Renesas may send additional information regarding Renesas products.
    3. If entrants have agreed to it, Renesas may also pass their data to Renesas Distribution Partners named here so they can contact entrants to discuss the supply of Renesas RX600 products to entrants, and also other sales and marketing opportunities relating to Renesas products.
    4. Renesas also needs to pass the data to other Renesas group companies named here (“Renesas Affiliates”) in order to support the promotion and to comply with reporting obligations in line with applicable law. Further if entrants have agreed to it Renesas Affiliates may contact entrants to offer new support and marketing or fulfil existing support and marketing obligations.
    5. If entrants are contacted in relation to the promotion or if entrants agreed to be contacted by Renesas or the Distribution Partners or by Renesas Affiliates for the other purposes named above this may be by email, telephone, or by post.
  23. Renesas reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, without notice to entrants.
  24. The Promotion is subject to laws of the Federal Republic of Germany with the exception of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
  25. Legal venue for all legal disputes arising directly or indirectly from the Promotion is Düsseldorf, Germany.
