When displaying FreeRTOS information (including Amazon FreeRTOS) with the Partner OS aware debugging plug-in, we can see the extended stack information.
"Stack" information is aggregated in the "Stack" tab.
On this tab, you can check the stack information for each task, and display warnings based on threshold values.

The Renesas Software Installer wizard has been added, available in the Renesas Views menu, which allows additional Renesas software to be installed into e2 Studio while it is running.
This software includes Renesas QE tools to assist the development of embedded systems applications.

When displaying FreeRTOS information (including Amazon FreeRTOS) with the Partner OS aware debugging plug-in, there are items that need to be set in the configuration file etc.
Their contents can be confirmed as a message display by hovering each column.

When displaying FreeRTOS information (including Amazon FreeRTOS) with the Partner OS aware debugging plug-in, we can see the Event Object column in Task Tab.
It can show the name of the queue that block the task.

When Renesas Usage Reporting is enabled (Preferences > C/C++ Renesas > Logging), everything that is transmitted to Renesas is now recorded in a local log.

2020-04 is based on the updated Eclipse Platform (4.14) & CDT 9.10 which includes new features & performance improvements.
One significant difference is with the Debug perspective layout. This has been improved to give more space to the editor, so it is easier to see your code. As with all perspective changes you are welcome to re-arrange it if it is not to your taste.

Per user data locations
The latest version of e2 studio now supports per-user data areas rather than saving all files under the e2 studio installation directory.
This should not affect your operation of the tools. However, on occasion you may wish to browse the support files for a device for example.
It is possible to access this information from the Help->About e2 studio dialog, then click “Installation Details”.
If you then click “Support folders” it shows where your user data folders are located on your machine.
