Obtaining your dongle site code
When installing for the first time, please follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide.
High-performance Embedded Workshop users
- If you are installing, or have the dongle installation CD to hand.
Insert the Dongle Driver CD and allow the AutoRun application to start.
The site code needed when registering your product is displayed in the site code frame in the format 80-*1nnnnnnnnnnnnn.
This text can be selected and copied to the clipboard.
If the dongle is not inserted, or the drivers are not installed, the frame contains "Not available".
If the drivers are not installed, install the drivers (see above).
If the drivers are installed, plug in the dongle and use the Refresh button.
- If you have already installed the dongle drivers and HEW software
Open HEW.
Insert the dongle
Open Help > Technical Support > License management
Select "site code"
The dongle site code is shown in the format 80-*1nnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Copy the site code to the clipboard.
e2studio users
Insert the USB dongle.
Insert the e2studio installation disk.
Using Windows File Explorer, browse to the disk and open the "Sentinel" folder.
Run "autorun.exe".
The dongle's site code should be displayed in the format 80-*1nnnnnnnnnnnnn.
You can highlight and copy the code, then paste it into the box above to obtain your license code(s).
